Here are a couple of photos of grandchildren with their gingerbread creations. It is part of the Oliver family tradition for the children to each get to make his or her own house beginning when they are age three. Maya hit the magic number this year. There are rules with the building: the main one being that no candy can be consumed during construction. But afterward..ah the bliss. Maya is very happy with her house, roof is courtesy of her mother, and Yasent is equally pleased with his carefully planned and beautifully built work of art.
