Sunny at last

It is June in Kodiak and after the usual rainy and windy memorial day weekend we have sun. Anne took Yasent and Lucas on a campout at Abercrombe Park which is not far from the house.

Lucas brought a sketchbook instead of a reading book so he could illustrate and tell his own stories.

At 8:30 pm Yasent strolled down to watch the waves against the shore. It was the perfect evening for reflection.

The next morning Lucas peeked out to a clear but cold morning.

Yasent had a baseball game that day so after camping they went to the game and afterward to ice cream on the dock. Way to take advantage of each moment of sun, Anne!
